We took this photo on our first day of class...it seems like just yesterday. Well done PA Class 2010 on persevering through some of the most challenging days of our lives. Now on to the exciting world of clinicals!!!
for a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. but there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. at last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. this perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. happiness is the way. so treasure every moment you have and remember that time waits for no one. -souza

15 months...Gone In A Moment
Yesterday the 2010 PA class completed 15 months of didactic learning. I can't believe this moment is already here. There have been sleepless nights, tears, laughter, frustrations, victories. When you are in the middle of something as intense as this it is very hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Even last week amidst the didactic summative evaluations and research proposals and a surgery cumulative exam it was hard to acknowledge that this season was coming to an end. I've learned more about myself in the past year than I ever imagined I would, but more importantly I've learned more of God's unfailing love, grace and faithfulness. He has carried me through many challenging days and through this season. I thank God for the people He has brought into my life and the incredible support they have been. I have gained an incredible PA family and it is going to be an adjustment not seeing them every day.
